Great selection of bikes and didn't feel pressured at all. The staff were helpfull and freindly. “Quality service and a great bike ”

Written on: 24/01/2017 by BrennanWoods (1 review written)

Been away from biking for 15 years and wanted to get going again. Searched all over the country online etc and finally set my heart on a XJ6s diversion. Seen a great bike on SoManyBikes.com with low mileage and a great price. Asked for an honest opinion on the bike from salesman and said yes on the phone and arranged finance same day. Bike arrived 5 days later and it was immaculate. Gleaming. Well happy. And its a great bike to get back into bikes again. Very impressed with this dealer. Would… Read Full Review

“leaving very positive feedback wherever I can”

Written on: 18/06/2016 by 20North (1 review written)

I recently purchased a ZZR 1400 from yourselves. My initial contact was via the phone to discuss the bike in detail. the team were very friendly and helpful. I then arranged to visit to test ride, and if as wanted, to then purchase it. Everything checked out and I purchased the bike. Unfortunately, as can sometimes happen, the bike developed a fault on the motorway. I had to pull into Charnock Richards and I called your showroom and spoke to the staff to advise that there was a problem. I… Read Full Review

“I bought a £10k k1600 gtl, bike was a good price,...”

Written on: 12/06/2016 by Lez1 (1 review written)

I bought a £10k k1600 gtl, bike was a good price, good helpful guys, due to the high tech of the bike I got one of their 3 yr warranties. Had a minor problem with one of the panniers not locking after about 3 months....they attended to it immediately. No messing about they just fixed it. I didn't use the bike much for the first few months ( stored it). Anyway it had an intermittent electrical fault which couldn't be diagnosed by bmw in Chester !! ( at big cost I might add!) undetterred… Read Full Review

“Buying a 2011 CBR1000RR Repsol in My 2016”

Written on: 01/06/2016

I had read a few reviews on SoManyBikes before purchasing a Repsol Fireblade from them in May, 2016. The reviews were varied but I went ahead and picked the bike up shortly after reserving it (I live over 300 miles from their showroom). The selection of bikes in the showroom is huge and the whole business is conducted in a very professional way. The Fireblade I bought is a one owner model with only 5,000 miles on the clock, so I can't comment on their after-sales service as I don't expect there… Read Full Review

“Worst "dealership" I've ever encountered ”

Written on: 22/02/2016 by SCOOBY9R (1 review written)

I was all set to buy a Ducati Diavel Stripe at £10000, I put a holding deposit on the bike as I wasn't able to see the bike for a week as I work offshore. They held the bike no problem, I then travelled from Edinburgh to Manchester to have a test ride as I'd never ridden a Diavel before. On arrival, once the salesman had finished on his call, 10 minutes. I was dealt with in a proficient manner, but was then told that as it was raining a test ride would be out of the question!! FFS! I'd done a… Read Full Review

Reading between the lines, I believe I understand and I share your frustration, I too have missed out on a deal on something I really wanted.

To be fair using your own account you appear to have talked yourself out of the deal,

The chap you dealt with in your words “ I was dealt with in a proficient manner” is somebody that I have worked with for over 20 years and he will be grateful for your kind words.

Prior to you travelling down to see us, as part of the negotiation to buy the bike, we fitted two brand-new tires on your behalf in with the price, these tires had not had the opportunity to be Scrub in.

Brand-new tires can catch you out on a bike you have ridden daily even on a clear day, so a bike this size and power with brand new tires on a rainy day is a recipe for disaster something we mentioned in Conversations you had on the telephone before you chosen take the journey to us.

That being sed you had travelled considerable distance so I understand your frustration with the oldham weather.

With accessories to be fitted we would always consult with a trained mechanic or the manufacture to ensure you receive the best solution.

Finally as a company policy we find it best not to force a sale/contract, if you requested refund for your deposit this is done without question, over the years I've seen the dealerships forcing a sale and we are not comfortable in that type of sales environment.

If you was to give us a second opportunity I would happily deal with you personally to ensure the best experience.

“Good Customer Service.”

Bought Ducati Monster 1200 R from somanybikes.com 3 weeks ago. Their Customer service is great, very friendly staff, however you have to pay a premium to get all this. I could have got same bike on gumtree or autotrader £200 cheaper, but without after sales service or any customer service. I often need tuning for my motorbike and somanybikes are happy to help me. They have a inhouse mechanics team who looks after your bike. if you are willing to a pay a premium and value your time, do use… Read Full Review

so many bikes made my entire buying experience last month a happy one and I can't say I could be more impressed with the way they handled me. They weren't pushy, and instead helped me out with choosing the right bike for me. My Harley really was a joint effort between me and the sales guy. I part-exed in my old GSX and the whole process was made easy by Danie. Last week I purchased a Aprilia RSV4 from so many bikes and while i find the bike to be exactly what i wanted and at a v good price, i found the customer service to be lacking in some areas. for instance, some of the emails sent to me had spelling mistakes etc. the salesman who dealt with me was quite young and seemed to get tongue tied sometimes. i felt as though he wanted to get me out the door as quick as possible with the bike and move on to the next customer it may seem like small picky… Read Full Review

“Fantastic Let's Party!”

Written on: 06/08/2015 by samantharichardson381 (1 review written)

After a quick phonecall to see if they had the kind of bike I wanted in stock I drove up to check it out. It was a bit odd to see that they were based in a mill but inside it was quite impressive. After a word with the young man at the desk I was introduced to the very person I had spoken to on the phone, and he showed me around. They had about five models similar to the one I had in mind, so I came back the next day after considering the prices. The salesman went through paperwork with me… Read Full Review

I've not bought a bike yet- still considering- but I wanted to share what a great experience I've had with these guys. I heard about them from a charity event they did so I knew they must be a bunch of decent people. I wasn't into making a decision on the spot and they sales team understood that and weren't pushy at all. I wondered around the huge showroom and when I found one I wanted there wasn't a question they couldn't answer. They also sell stuff for cleaning your bike at home which was a… Read Full Review

“rubbish after sales”

Written on: 02/08/2015 by Karendou (2 reviews written)

My husband purchases a bike at the end of may. It leaks fuel and has been back several times for replacement parts. The after sales manager has now said no fault can be found even though he confirmed when he collected it on one occasion that there was fuel on the barge floor and the fumes were over powering. Kare n in after sales who I think is an illusion will only communicate by email.we have not had one conersartion with her. I have written to the m d at his home address and he couldn't be… Read Full Review

The resolution to this matter was a full refund, this was upsetting for all parties involved as your husband made it clear he liked the bike.

There was a intermittently faulty manufacturers part, a small petrol pipe that connected the fuel tank to the bike which was weeping from the manufacturer sealed joint.

The bike was an immaculate Yamaha MT-03 with low mileage and the fault was near impossible to detect, as it was intermittently weeping and with the very nature of the fuel evaporating.

We was unable to diagnose the fault on the first two occasions and in truth replaced the manufacturer's part with one brand new ordered from Yamaha direct just to eliminate it not because we felt it was faulty but just remove it from the list the part cost less than £10 and it just made sense to eliminate it at that price.

we replace this part very early on not knowing there was a faulty batch and our brand-new part had exactly the same manufacturers flaw as the part we had replaced it with.

we understood your husband was not best pleased, we had spoken to him at length regarding the issue at the time and it was clear there had been two attempts at repairing the bike for the same fault.

we only allow a third attempt and on the rare occasion this happens we offer a full refund, ultimately we are grateful your husband give us the opportunity to continue to investigate as he did not want to get the bike back for a full refund but understandably wanted it fixed.

I got the opportunity to get to know your husband I did say when I bump into him at the local we will have a pint and probably laugh about it.

“Rip off merchants”

Written on: 23/07/2015 by clarkie990 (1 review written)

My feedback, largely, is I was left somewhat disappointed in the suggested value offered for my Honda Fireblade as a part exchange against another bike SMB were selling. My bike is an excellent condition, 2000 Blade with 4,400 miles on the clock (full details were passed over the telephone). I was offered £1,500 as a part-ex deal. Whilst I appreciate they are a business, not a charity, at the time this offer was made they were selling another Blade of the same model, with 30,000 miles for… Read Full Review

Firstly clarkie, I will like to thank you for your kind words "Staff were polite when speaking to me on the telephone" and we apologise you feel the part exchange valuation was less then you had anticipated, there are many factors that effects a vehicles valuation, age, mileage, overall condition, how many we have in stock etc etc and there is always human error, as it may seem to be on this occasion all be it I have not got the condition reports in front of me to confirm.

With our online advertising we check daily and audit monthly over the years we have found this to be essential and it seems on this occasion it was corrected. we are very grateful you have taken the time to give us your feedback and if you was to give us a 2nd opportunity to help you, give me Gc a call I will assist you personally.
