“They don't know what there are actually selling...”

★★★☆☆

written by Mike2207 on 17/07/2017

Went to check out 10-year-old CB 1300, as claimed only 1 previous owner. Quick look into papers and I needed only 2 minutes to find out that the bike had 2 owners in the past... Claimed to be in "very good" condition, but they didn't mention anything about cracked plastics and poorly painted one of the engine covers, it was obvious that the bike has been dropped on both sides. I wouldn't classify this bike as "very good", not even close. Staff bit disorientated, they couldn't tell me anything about the bike. Place to buy and quickly sell bikes, don't expect anything else. But can't complain about customer service, they were friendly and tried to help as much as they could.

“Apathy abounds”

★★☆☆☆

written by faCastro23 on 22/04/2015

The staff and salesmen are hopeless. I'm a genuine customer keen on buying a new Kawasaki. They're completely disengaged from any service, only a junior salesperson engaged with me and was totally out of depth on product knowledge. No wonder they have lots of bikes left unsold. I'm taking my business elsewhere; somewhere that knows about customer service.

“Sells your info”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 11/08/2014

Went to see a motorbike at the showroom. Wasn't in great condition which I expected but saw another of the same make and model which was in much better condition but cost more than I wanted to spend. Told them I would go away and think about it as it was more money than I wanted to spend and would have to check if I had the money available. So I filled in enquiry form so they could contact me if there was any other interest in the bike. Less than a week later, after I haven't talked to them, I get a phone call from an insurance company in Manchester wanting to talk to me about insurance for a bike that I could possibly purchase in the future. Without my permission, or letting me know they were going to do so, they sold my personal information onto third party companies in breach of the data protection act. The only way to describe my experience thus far uses several derogatory terms. I will be avoiding them in the future.

“Unfreindly, unhelpful...”

Emailed to ask for a specific bike at a specific price. Offered 2 for £200 more than I asked which was fine. Went in and looked at bikes, seemed nice bikes but no pricing on bikes yet as just come in. Assumed was the price I was told in the email. Told to return for a test ride, did so 2 days later to be told price was now £500 more than I asked and movement only of £100 despite showing email. salesman was rude, explaining his day was just soooo tough, having to 'deal with me' and 3 handovers (surely a nice part of the job?). Told to go and negociate with the boss myself as it's 'easier to get rid of the middleman'. Boss left me waiting for 20 minutes while he discussed printing his logo on plastic cups and how much money he made. When I finally got to speak to him he offered useless alternatives which led me to walk out. It may have just been a bad day for both people but I will never return. I also found a younger bike with less miles in better nick at the Honda garage round the corner. Win. Was looking for a CBR600F for around £2500, 2001 or newer.

“I emailed 10 Aprilia dealers in the UK, looking for...”

★★★★★

written by Tuono on 11/07/2009

I emailed 10 Aprilia dealers in the UK, looking for the best deal on an Tuono R and none compared with the service I was about to receive. Great advice, extremely helpful and what a deal. The bike at lowest UK price and a set of Arrows thrown in for free. Delivery to the door and OTR costs paid by company.
