Went to J&S Wolverhampton where we have been many times and spent a lot over the years. We have built up great rapport with the staff there, who have always gone above and beyond. Unfortunately after a recent visit, I doubt we will go again. We had 2 helmets price matched but they needed to be ordered in. They arrived just before we went away and were told they would hold them for us until we returned. When we went to collect the order, the price had changed, the Manager refused to honour the price match and was extremely sarcastic and rude. The deputy manager who had been serving me apologised for the Managers attitude. It takes time to build relationships with customers and the Manager managed to ruin it and lose over £800 of business for the sake of a few pounds difference!

bought a pair of evo boots on 21st of this month but as the store at regent street leeds was closing shortly after getting there tried on a pair of redroute trousers with fit perfect then decided I wanted a pair of short evo boots so I tried them on and all seemed ok until about 2 days later when I tried the trousers on and decided to put the boots on I laced them up to the top and found they were very uncomfortable and cut in to my ankles so decided to return them last Saturday or so I thought .when I entered the store I spoke to a person to which I found obnoxious and ignorant and definately had a chip on his shoulder as a manager. I told him that I wanted to return them and get my money back only to be told that it wouldn't happen and said he would give me a voucher instead and when I questioned why he said terms and conditions and so I asked where they were he pointed to a piece on the desk were they were people put there goods on top of so I then said that when buying boots or other goods why don't the staff tell customers when they buy things so they are aware of the terms and conditions instead of covering them up . so buyers beware if you have to return and want your money back apparently its tough luck and please be aware the managers a plank

popped in to the j&s at northcamp to day to sort out a pair of boots, the staff no there stuff and bend offer backwoods to help you .they dont take you to the most expensive stuff they ask questions to find what your looking for .spot on customer care ,

J&S Leicester are proving to be the best place in the Midlands for anything bike related. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Always offer to make a brew and give you all the technical advise you need. If they don't have the items you need they will get it in as soon as they can. Not always the cheapest but sometimes you have to pay a little more for service. After all it's not all about the price, it's about the product and the assistance. The only downside which can't really be a negative is that the shop is packed ! The team are second to none, it's great to see a shop that run by proper enthusiasts.
