Absolutely fuming with Barclays/Woolwich who have refused my wife and I a "loyalty" mortgage switch because of a petty £600 dispute I have with a large, British enery Gas company for mis selling me a tariff.
Woolwich has basically said "Computer says No" after 25 years of banking with them and me having had three previous Woolwich mortgages in the past without issue.
I'm closing my current account this week, cutting up my Barclaycard and closing my ING Direct savings account as well.
Stay well away from these idiots who have just lost a loyal customer and thousands in revenue.
Absolute idiots with no common sense.

most banks will decline a mortgage with a ccj/default for that amount whether its a dispute or not. Customers can tell a bank any reason for the ccj/default but the banks will only go on the hard facts of a credit report.
