“RBS Offset Nightmare”

I am currently trying to get an RBS Offset Mortgage. I need to borrow only 30% of the value of the property, having sold my own house 5 months ago. I wish I could give RBS zero stars, they are so utterly useless it defies belief. Their 'process' is to ask for a piece of information, wait a week and then ask for the next piece (even though I have faxed each requested item to them on the day from a local branch - 69 pages in 3 visits so far...) and so on. “I had a great time with them”

I've just dropped off my fixed rate mortgage, but I can't fault them for the time I was with them. They had the cheapest fixed rate (by quite some margin). They were very quick to process my application (I know no-one else was applying around this time). Payments always came out on time and for the right amount - not much more they could do.
