Since May 2012, We have had problems paying our mortgage at our local branch. Initially we were told that we were NRAM customers and were given an 0854 number to ring. No explanation, No nothing!. Off I went and called the high charging NRAM number to be told that I was a Northern Rock Customer. All that my branch had to do was type my account number and they would have seen but, NO they just thought I was an NRAM customer.
I went through all the formal procedures of complaining and the matter could not be easily resolved so head office offered me a small amount of money which I accepted ( I did not think it would happen again).
Begining of July 2012 exactly the same thing happened again, this time I had sent my daughter to pay the money while I was at work and they sent her away. When I phoned them clearly angry and calling them MORONS! they put the phone down on me.
