It's been 3 months for a very simple remortgage process and still nothing.
When I remortgaged previously with HSBC it took one month. Nationwide service is appalling. I applied at the branch as thought direct contact is better. The consultant who was looking after my case did not even bother returning my calls or emails.
Their own solicitors still have documents missing from them but they don't communicate with each other.
I'm really tempted to pull out of the deal as Nationwide are really incompetents. The better rate is probably not worth the hassle.
