I read all the reviews before applying and thought I would give them a chance. I wish I hadn't bothered. If you havn't got any credit or your credit is excellent it will be an instant decline, well when I say instant they will stil make u go tgrout the whole affordability part which took 2 hours!!! Why they dont credit check u first I dont know. Also dont think that if your already a natwest customer that this is the easy option as it isnt. The lady there told us that because my partner has been with them for 16 years hes 33 now that they will be able to see what he was like with money for all them years and like most teenagers he wasnt very good with it. although his credit rating is 890 now. Natwest have got the optiom to dig back further than other lenders and they will. I dobt have any debt and the only thing coming out of my account is my phone bill. Apparently this doesnt prove that im goid at repaying. We have found the perfect house a d now im petrified thaf were going to loose it, we got an appointment with a mortgage advisor next week so fingers crossed they will be able to find a company who doesn't solely use a computer system to decide whether we can afford a mortgage (which we easily can. Its just all a farce in my eyes. Only apply to natwest if you dobt need a 95% mortgage and if you havr an excellent credit history with a lot of payments coning out of your acvount. Otherwise u will end wasting 2 hours of yout life...
