shocking company

my broker recommended using Kensington due to out credit history issues. Kensington claim to help people with poor credit history and understand real life.

this was far from my experience! at the start it seemed ok...then it all went wrong. they started asking for paper work that they already had time and time again...asking questions totally irrelevant to the situation. They even questioned why I was putting money into savings per week (I good thing I thought) extremely slow to respond to my broker. I'm self employed which they were aware of but kept asking for a p60...which I wouldn't have being self employed. the deposit was being gifted by a family member which was fine to begin with.....but half way through they changed there policy which meant our deposit was no longer acceptable, this left us high and dry and they were less than sympathetic to the situation. my broker worked so very hard and we eventually got a mortgage with Halifax.... they I cannot fault excellent. Kensington were rude and did nothing but stand in our way at every opportunity they could. for a company that supposedly helps people in the real world....they were obstructive and didn't seem to understand "real world" situations STAY CLEAR!
