Having read these reviews I was extremely concerned having just applied for a mortgage with Accord. I did however think we would be fine and it wont happen to us. Wrong, 6 weeks it has taken to get a response, We are a first time buyer with excellent credit history, Joint salary covered the loan amount requested and we were declined today. Constant phone calls, going round in circles asking for constant new documents. Claimed that everything was ok and they have everything they needed only to say the next day we havent sent what they required. Mortgage broker was on the phone to them daily. Awful customer service, I will be attempting to recover the lost Processing fee. Had an offer accepted within 2 hours with the Halifax and someone sent out to value the property just 24 hours after being accepted. What a joke Accord is!
