“Stay clear! ”

Completely avoid this company. Got lied to buy an advisor who told my partner and I we wouldn't have any redemption fee as long as we stayed with the same lender, even after he was fully aware we weren't completing on our new house the same day as our sale. Now stuck with a bill over £2000. Complained to the company who basically told me I was lieing and we were completing on the same day. Even phoned my solicitor not about my case! “Not the cheapest, BUT....”

I had a particularly complex case which wasn't helped that my mortgage application went in over the MMR period. Natwest initially rejected the mortgage due to these factors but, New Homes managed to appeal this and get me a mortgage offer for the rate and product I selected (not an easy task as far as Natwest are concerned). “Do not use the 'No Home Group'”

We are in the process of buying our dream home, and were persuaded to use TNHG by the builder. What a mistake that was! We have been in the 'process' for 7 weeks now, only to be told that the lender will not offer us the full amount. Inarticulate staff, poor information flow and little in the way of effort in answering any questions posed their way. “AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

This company is appalling. What a prolonged and agonisingly painful process dealing with NHG to buy our home. Never again will I use them. Not once did they make it clear as to what they wanted, the advisor was not up to much at all. They lost our documents only to magically find them again later. “New Home - No Hope”

As a previous reviwewer has said, excellent service right up to the point that we were visited by their advisor. From that point the service went downhill rapidly. Failure to respond to voice mails, somehow they never seem to be at their desks!!!!! failure to respond to emails. When you do finally get to speak to someone they promise they will ring back..just make sure your not holding your breath.. “New Homes Group = No home Group”

Being forced to use a particular mortgage broker is never a great part of buying a new house, especially if you want to put a down-payment of just 5%, but we were unlucky enough to have to use The New Homes Group, also called the New Homes Mortgage Helpline (Essex).
