The Negative Reviews Were Wrong - Very Friendly & Helpful

I was dubious about using The New Homes Group. We were first time buyers and therefore not clued up on the process. I was suspicious as our house builder recommended TNHG to us and, thinking there may be a conflict of interest, I took to the net to research them. I found many negative comments and reviews which of course made me more suspicious. It so happened that the requirements of the application meant we could not proceed with TNHG in April.

I decided to go direct to the Halifax who could use the paperwork we had at that time. All seemed great except that they messed up our application after promising us a mortgage and approving our initial application. We were not in a position to use TNHG initially because timing wise we did not have the paperwork we needed however after going through the process with Halifax - time lapsed and we had the necessary paperwork for TNHG and decided to give them another try in June.

We had an Advisor in our home within days. She was extremely helpful and worked into the night before her visit to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. Once she had completed our application and submitted it she passed us to another lady (Lavinia) who was so helpful and responsive and kept us updated at every stage.

We finally received the good news that our mortgage was approved and we moved into our new home last week. We are overjoyed. The New Homes Group did for us what the Halifax could not and took the stress out of the process too. We can't thank you enough.

I am a suspicious and wary customer and took the negative reviews online as a reflection of TNHG but I am happy to say they were completely wrong. I would recommend New Homes - especially to first time buyers.
