I've owned 3 Civics, all VI gen. And although, all had the same engine size, each of them was a little different, they had one thing in common. Reliability. One was more nippy than the other, but none of them has never let me down. They were 14, 15 or 12 years old and no problems at all. My first Civic was really fast and responsive. Next one was more stubborn and took time to get speedy, my current one has it all. This car just does not break as simply, there is not much to get broken. It is so much mechanical and not much of electronics, which I take as an advantage. You can fix most of the stuff yourself if anything goes wrong. Some say, it's an old peoples' car. In this case, I would take it as an advantage. Old drivers usually have an experience, they are looking for sth that will give them no hassle. And there comes Civic. It gives no hassle. Old or young.
