I paid for their iPhone unlocking service on the 03/01/2013 for my iPhone 4S with Vodafone and even though they said 3-7 days, 14 days later I am still waiting for their email with the unlocking code/procedure. My holidays are over and returning to UK and still waiting for my iPhone to be unlocked in order to use it with a local pay-as-you-go card. They are the fastest when it came to taking you money, within minutes you get an email from them that the payment was successful. It has been almost two weeks and my iphone is not unlock yet. They promise you it will take 1-2 days. I have been trying to contact them via email, phone and their so called instant chat live with a customer agent but no one has even returned my phone call or just even an email. I saw this website and was going to give hten a try as there prices were pretty much the same as the other site offering the same service. However I tried calling them four times now and got an answer machine each time. I also tried to email them and got no reply. I checked my spam filters so I know it's not a spam issue - I think it is basically an unmanned website, indicating that they are just collecting money and doing nothing. After doing a search online I came across Theiphoneunlock and paid the £35. Easy transaction! Afterwards I was reading about several other sites that have been scams and quickly panic set in, so I emailed the company, hoping for a reply to at least assure me Id just not thrown £35 away. Following a previous bad experience and failed attempt with a US based vendor, I entrusted the unlock of a iPhone 3GS to a UK web based vendor 'theiphoneunlock.co.uk'. Things didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped, due to some technical issues. Sadly although they claimed to get the o2 iPhone unlock in 1-2 days on their website, it was actually 3 business days (5 days since the order was placed) before the phone was unlocked. Their staff were very helpful but not very quick to investigate and push for meeting their own timeframes. This is quite an expensive service so although they got the phone unlocked in half the time specified by O2 on their website, they also only charge half the price so you need to take a view on this. i bought a second hand iphone 4 and was having difficulty unlocking it. the carrier was 02, and they advised that i should buy a pay as u go sim, make a chargeable call, and then fill up the unlock form, and phone should be unlocked within 14 days. all for £15. well they sent me an email when i sent my request they said that my imei number didnt match with the phone number. apparently i had to use my phone for a month with my sim in it, so that the system recognises that i am the new... My daughters phone was stolen so got a new one which was locked to O2 so sent iphoneunlock my imei phone details and within 2 days had instructions to unlock,this was very easy,simply going on to itunes to get phone recognised now her orange sim works perfectly.100% recommend (read more)

After reading a lot of conflicting claims on websites and forums on how to unlock my iPhone, I finally got to the bottom of things and realized that the only option to unlock my iPhone 4 locked to Orange, was with an imei unlock. I chose this site because of its simplicity and ultimately, their price (up to £30 cheaper than some sites I visited) and was not disappointed..
