Paid for a Iphone 3GS purchased in the US that was under an AT&T agreement.
Returned to New Zealand, used phone until update locked phone. Tried to get AT&T to unlock but prooved difficult, especially if you dont have a fax- (who has fax machine now days?) Paid for unlockiphoneATT fee of $15.00 USD and still cant use the phone. Tried all there suggestions listed in trouble shooting to no avail. Responce for their on;line team was its a hardware fault!Suggest the company takes up a no unlock- no fee policy
