The code worked, they helped me with errors

First off: the unlock code worked 100%, right off the bat!

Secondly, it wasn't working for me because someone had tinkered ever so slightly with my phone, changing a few settings, but through each of UnlockUnit's emaill to me, they patiently gave me next steps until finally one email had instructions on how to reverse that setting which allowed the unlock code to work.

I assume they get every issue under the rainbow as to why the codes don't work, and I know their email responses are very much copy-paste type things (oh, this didn't work, move on to the next copy-paste instructions) but I didn't mind much as long as it was helpful.

Most of their email responses were within 10 minutes back, although a few took up to 2 hours. I didn't really mind, as they solved the issue in the end. I am still willing to give them a 5 out of 5 because I am sure other companies would be like "well the code is right, not our problem if your phone won't accept it" but UnlockUnit didn't do that - they helped every step of the way!
