Followed the process of obtaining an unlocking code for a Blackberry 9700 with no warning given about entering their code when zero attempts remain on your phone. You only see that there are zero attempts remaining, when reaching the screen for entering the MEP code on your phone. By then it is too late and your money is committed. It is then pointed out that you should have read the terms and conditions but how do you know how to check for zero attempts left, prior to this action?
Some of us are not that savvy about the technical aspects of MEP codes, IMEI numbers etc.
I made a perfectly genuine attempt at applying an unlocking code only to find that a perfectly good machine is now 'hard locked' and useless.
Thanks MPUS!
