Great company, I'm impressed freeunlocks.com! I used thier paid service. I got email confirmation around 14 hrs later which is good for iPhone unlock. I then connected iPhone to iTunes and did a full restore using UNSUPPORTED SIM T-MOBILE which is very important cause it didn't unlock using my net10 sim which runs off AT&T network. Once iTunes restored the iPhone it reboots, first I got unsupported sim message in iTunes. So per freeunlocks directions I disconntred iPhone and rebooted it. Once it came back on I connected to iTunes again, once iTunes connects with phone my phone said needs activation. I disconnected and reconnected iphone still says needs actvation waited 10-15 seconds then I slid the slider on my iPhone and I got CONGRADULATIONS YOUR IPHONE IS UNLOCKED. I redid the unlock using iTunes restore method only afterwards several times by simply restoring with tmobile sim wait after reboot for iTunes to fully connect and the message instantly shows CONGRADULATIONS YOUR IPHONE IS UNLOCKED. Hope this helps someone because it took me several tries and methods before I got this message to display.
Now for 19.99 I believe this is a great price, short wait, for the benefit of using any gsm sim carrier, value of my iPhone 5 increased, and I have the addition of using out of country. Also made YouMail work great, and was able to edit apn using sim swap method, so no need to jailbreak your device and void your warranty, this is a cheap, fast, safe method to gain all the luxury of an unlocked iPhone to use as u choose. I highly recommend this company, although I was very skeptical simply because I knew nothing about them, but I figured I'd give a try and if I lost $20 lesson learned but they have truly exceeded my expectations! I saw another site $40 2-5 days I think the turn around was there. So you do the math. I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Goodluck and happy unlocking to you all.
