The repair required desoldering a damaged micro USB port and soldering a new one in place. For ~£30 inc. insured postage, these chaps had the phone repaired and delivered back to me in four days, which presumably included them waiting on delivery of the spare part.

The whole process was very simple and their online repair tracking service was excellent, keeping me updated of the progress throughout the process.

I was initially skeptical about posting my phone to a company called 'FoneFunShop', which didn't immediately fill me with confidence. After reading some reviews, I decided to give it a try and I'm certainly glad that I did, and they now have a loyal customer who is happy to recommend them.
