I sent off my iPhone 5c with a broken screen and expected (as promised on website) to see it again in 5 working days, sadly I didnt! Much hassle with this company who apparently found a secondary fault, when I declined they tried dropping the price. When I used social media to post my experience with them, they blocked me! Sent my S5 with a cracked screen and LCD on 23 Jan. Eventually they quoted to for the repair. I paid within 2hrs of the invoice. Subsequent attempts to call the company 10-20 times a day. Most resulted unanswered calls, they don't return calls, emails etc. In the rare times I get to speak to a person, all I get is lies and tales for reasons why they have been unable to repair the phone. This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to leave negative online feedback about a company, but my experience with Foneangels was so poor that I felt I had to! Pros: Good repair of screen of IPad 4. Good value for actual screen repair. Next day, courier return, well packaged on return. Not sure about: Additional work found on lead socket. I was not in a position to judge if this was a genuine need, as foneangels had my pad. However the lead now plugs into the socket much better, so I think it was likely to be a genuine requirement. Customer Service; Sent my iPhone 5 in over the Christmas period and paid for express delivery. I don’t believe this service should be available over the Christmas period as they could not fulfil the service. Did not receive my phone back for roughly 5 working days. I sent my Galaxy S4 to Foneangels to have the front glass replaced expecting the phone to be fixed and returned within 5 working days. I then received an email stating the LCD display had been damaged and a new screen would cost a total of £184.99 including a £10 discount. Totally know how you feel, they tried to charge me £215 to fix the sceeen on my iPad as appantly they kept finding other faults with it. I asked them to return my iPad and refund my money. I have just had it fixed elsewhere and. It cost me £60 ! I have just got my money back after complaining to PayPal. Absolutely disgusted, they should be ashamed of themselves

On 2 separate occasions I have also been informed of secondary issues. On both occasions I have paid for the additional repairs although I do suspect that I was being ripped off

After a week of hearing nothing from then I had a missed call and a request via paypal that I had to pay for additional repairs. Hey,

I sent my iPad off on the 31 Dec, and not heard anything. Not even an email to say they've received it. I'm worried as I've recently seen a lot of issues about long waiting times and extra charges.

Check Fone Angels Facebook page, as there's more complaints on there too.

I think we should complain to trading standards, as I'm not having this.

Same experience here, sent my iPad to them on the 15th of December only got it back yesterday, over a month for a screen replacement as apparently iPad air screens were out of stock and awaiting delivery from suppliers. 30 odd phone calls only answered the phone 3 times. Left a review on here and Foneangels website both taken down, no abusive or offensive language was used. Happy to contact trading standards or watchdog perhaps.

My story is below but to summarise, this company will try to charge you for extra work that you have not requested and may even break your device to create extra work and make more money out of you. It was not made clear to me when I placed the order that to use the ‘while-you-wait’ drop off service there is an extra charge of £15. Unfortunately they still have my daughters phone .... was collected last Thursday and we paid express service. I had a phone call on Friday advising there was something wrong with the charging part of the phone and two pins were missing ..... news to us and I told them to leave it and just replace the cracked screen. I will not be amused if the phone comes back with damage it didn't have when it was sent.

fone angels were great. they repaired the ipad screen and sent the ipad back straight away. i had received it back within 2 days. Unfortunately the courier had inadvertently smashed the screen in transit so i received it smashed ( in a different place on a the ipad). Fone angels replaced the screen within 2 days ( a second time for free ) and it came back brand new. I would thoroughly recommend this service.
