While the website looks flashy and the price is decent their customer service is awful I sent my iPad in on the 14/02 and received it on the 28/03 not the speedy 5 day they promise. They also kept sending me new invoices for other repairs that "needed" to be done - which did not! they trying to trick innocent people. I'm taking the time to write this review as I really do not want others to suffer from what can only be described as the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Terrible service. I sent an iPhone 5c for a repair to have the glass screen replaced. I sent the phone to them on 17 Feb and have only received it back today 30 March! I had to chase the company for updates and became increasingly frustrated with their lack of customer service. Shockingly bad service. I purchased their express repair service and and they collected my phone. I then didnt hear anything from them for 4 days. I contacted them for an update to which i got the response of: We are waiting for a part to arrive and your item wont be ready til next week. “Don't do it!”

Trying to get your money back from this company is a nightmare. Customer services will repeatedly fob you off with the 3-5 working days minimum, several times in a row. However, beginning legal action does get results within 48 hours - however why does it have to come to that? If they were as good on customer complaints as they are on pulling trust pilot reviews they don't like, then things might improve. I had problems with posting my 1 star review about foneangels on trustpilot but in the end they posted it and apologized to me. You just need to keep the pressure on. I sent them 3 emails and gave them 1 star review on their own website which worked. People need to able to see what kind of comapny fone angels is.

My son sent off his iPhone 5 for a screen repair. After 3 days foneangels sent an email claiming there was additional damage that would cost an extra £45. When he refused it, the price for the additional work dropped to £30. i have had exactly the same thing happen to me with my iPad. i am still waiting for my money to be returned but they tell me that they are going to withhold £10 to cover postage when it is their fault they don't have the replacement screen. I am now on a mission to spread the word as to what a bunch of misleading rubbish they spout. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PRECIOUS DEVICE.

Avoid at all cost ! Unless your happy for foneangels to have your device up to a month ( Minimum). The technicians are not to blame they are very good at there jobs, management and lack of parts are the major problem within this company. There are devices dated from January that have yet to be repaired due to lack of parts from the incompetence of the manager. He lacks in every department he doesn't know how to manage a company and is living a very privileged life with the money that customers pay for to have there devices repaired ! But yet those devices do not get repaired in the time Stated. Once you have paid for your repair and sent your device off be prepared for a phone call or email with some additional repairs for example on an iPad they will say anything from a button flex, charging dock, power flex, wifi flex may need replacing due to the damage on the screen and the impact taken from dropping the device. No need to be replaced and half the time it's never replaced just reused from another device so your not getting a new part but does get a good clean with a toothbrush and some IPA. Just want to be open and honest to customers who put there faith in a company and trust them with your own device. Not all is bad though I'd say 20% of customers are happy with the service they received from foneangels. The office staff, sales team and technicians work very hard for very little reward ! They are trying to do a job with very little support. Just a review to the general public its down to you guys if you choose to go with foneangels. Good luck.

Sent my S5 with a cracked screen and LCD on 23 Jan. Eventually they quoted to for the repair. I paid within 2hrs of the invoice. Subsequent attempts to call the company 10-20 times a day. Most resulted unanswered calls, they don't return calls, emails etc. In the rare times I get to speak to a person, all I get is lies and tales for reasons why they have been unable to repair the phone. Pros: Good repair of screen of IPad 4. Good value for actual screen repair. Next day, courier return, well packaged on return. Not sure about: Additional work found on lead socket. Customer Service; Sent my iPhone 5 in over the Christmas period and paid for express delivery. I don’t believe this service should be available over the Christmas period as they could not fulfil the service. Did not receive my phone back for roughly 5 working days. Totally know how you feel, they tried to charge me £215 to fix the sceeen on my iPad as appantly they kept finding other faults with it. I asked them to return my iPad and refund my money. I have just had it fixed elsewhere and. It cost me £60 ! I have just got my money back after complaining to PayPal. Absolutely disgusted, they should be ashamed of themselves

Hey,

I sent my iPad off on the 31 Dec, and not heard anything. Not even an email to say they've received it. I'm worried as I've recently seen a lot of issues about long waiting times and extra charges.

Check Fone Angels Facebook page, as there's more complaints on there too.

I think we should complain to trading standards, as I'm not having this.

Same experience here, sent my iPad to them on the 15th of December only got it back yesterday, over a month for a screen replacement as apparently iPad air screens were out of stock and awaiting delivery from suppliers. 30 odd phone calls only answered the phone 3 times. Left a review on here and Foneangels website both taken down, no abusive or offensive language was used. Happy to contact trading standards or watchdog perhaps.
