“Absolutely terrible company”

Do not use this company if you value your phone. I really wish I was being overly dramatic here. My phone was stepped on on a night out and so the touch screen broke but the phone was still usable. I searched around to find a good company and chose this one impressed with their 5 day turn around promise - like most people I am heavily reliant on my phone. Very similar to the iphone story. i foolishly broke the sim card reader on my galaxy note trying to use a micro sim with adaptor (do not try it). all other functions were fine, it had effectively become a small tablet. buzzbox advertise average 4 day turnaround and gave a reasonable quote of about £50 so i sent it off. a week of silence went by, a telephone call told me it was 'in queue'. more calls told me the engineer was working on it. and working on it. and working on it. apparently he... Good personal service, polite and efficient. However my mobile phone came back with minor scratch to the face and marking on its inner and outer edges. If I can take it fully apart without any marking, why can’t the shop? Engineer came up with the same conclusion as I did, the PCB is faulty. It was not repaired. I couldn’t obtain a replacement PCB, so I guess the shop couldn’t either. Despite this, I would recommend the shop, but feel this could be improved. Thanks and best of luck to... (read more)

My HTC One V screen finally cracked after one drop too many onto concrete. Google found me three repairers, and BuzzBox appeared the best, and quoted noticeably cheaper. The quotation form and logging the repair on their website was very simple, and I got e-mailed acknowledgement of them getting my phone the following day. “Excellent repair service”

Buzz-Box have just repaired the micro USB port on my HTC Incredible S. The price they had originally estimated was the final price. They repaired it quickly and I received it back (in the Highlands of Scotland) less than 24 hours after paying for the repair. Buzz-Box provide an excellent service and I really like the features like the ability to see online what the status is, the facility to print out a label for posting the phone. I sent my Samsung Galaxy Note to be repaired to buzz-box, with a damaged lcd and digitizer. I sent the device on Saturday via recorded delivery. On monday I checked that the phone was delivered and shortly afterwards received an email from buzz-box informing me they had booked my phone and would be seen by an engineer soon. I recently damaged my screen on my Blackberry 8520, on arrival I was promptly given the price of the repair, informed that they did have the parts in stock and given a printed receipt for my phone. I took my iPhone 4 in Buzz Box to have it repaired (here's the quote they came up with) http://imgur.com/W60dV It was dropped and the internal speaker had broken so I couldn't hear people when they called and they couldn't hear me. Everything else was working fine and this was the only problem.
