This is the same company,or people, who run iphonespecialist. I have already written a review of how bad our experience with iphonespecialist was, so please look up details under that company name. The PayPal payment we made to iphonespecialist was confirmed as being recieved by Blackberryrecovery.co.uk. Our experience was similar to the other bad review here. It took a lot of perseverance with emails and phone calls to eventually get my daughters iPod returned, without a repair having been... (read more)

Sent BR the phone as the screen was cracked. They promptly returned with a new screen (with a big MADE IN CHINA sticker left on it) and we turned the phone on but the screen would keep turning off or going black especially during calls. You must realise that when the screen was cracked, the phone was still 100% functional (even the touchscreen worked) but after it was retuened to us with a new screen it just didn't work for more than a few seconds. I returned it back to them, and spoke to... (read more)

Blackberryrepairs.co.uk REVIEW Excellent company. Very fast turnaround time – took just a few days to repair my Blackberry Curve 8520. I had a problem with trackball, which was replaced by Blackberryrepairs.co.uk, but still did not work the way it should. Blackberryrepairs.co.uk spent few extra days sorting this out and in the end did not charge extra for this repair. Also, the LCD screen was replaced at no additional charge too – typical cost of around £50. Competitive prices –... (read more)

I'm not sure that blackberryrepairs.co.uk and blackberryrecovery.co.uk are the same company - working addresses are different.

This is a shame.
I advise you to contact them again via email and phone. If you do not hear from them, there are a number of things you can do:
1. I presume the payment to blackberryrecovery.co.uk for the handset repair was made using PayPal. Therefore, you can initiate a PayPal dispute to get your money back. To do this, log into your PayPal account, then click on Resolution Centre tab and finally click on Dispute a Transaction. Also, you need to tell PayPal that blackberryrecovery.co.uk have your phone and have not yet returned it back to you.
2. Alternatively you can contact your bank and explanation the situation. Depending on the amount you paid to have the handset repaired and the type of card used, you may be eligible to get your money back under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Card or you may have to ask for a Chargeback if Section 75 does not apply to you.
3. Last resort would be to start legal proceedings against blackberryrecovery.co.uk in the small claims court.
