“Worst company in Britain”

This company has nearly brought me to my knees. More than once. I am stuck with them, purely because where I live is rural and other networks are even worse reception. “HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE”

After being a loyal customer to this company for 15 years I decided to upgrade. Couldn't be simpler using the my Vodafone service. How wrong can you be? After two days the new upgrade had not appeared on the account, called them, one hour later, Oh no problem Sir, I will activate this for you right now. Another day passed, tried online help, useless. Where do I start? Was charged over £1000 for mobile data, without a single notification that I was near my limit let alone over it. Tried to speak to customer services, they weren't interested. I asked them why I hadn't received notifications, they weren't interested. I said could they email me proof that I had had these notifications, they said they would. We moved to Ireland a few month ago and headed to Vodafone to get the broadband to our house. It took more than a month for Vodafone to figure out that we cannot get broadband service in the house we rend. More than a month ! Incredible, after this event the company dare to propose us their terrible satellite contract with worse prices and data allowance than Meteor for instance... unbelievable. Never fails...I need to download my bills every few months to do expenses. As was the same last time, the View My Bills section of Vodafone's website has some error scripting and no previous bills are available. This website always has errors...why don't you hire someone senior from American Express or another (better run company) to get the basics right? The next logical thing, contact support. Phone works fine but customer service is a kafkaesque joke. Bills consistently messed up and spending hours each month getting passed around from pillar to post. Promises made consistently broken.. I can't explain the incompetence. Different story from every advisor and I'm Not exaggerating. 7 phone calls all lasting over an hour most of which was spent on hold with the occasional instance of getting cut off!! They have no regard for their customers; I have five contracts with them for myself and my children all on a monthly tariff. I am stuck with them now for the next 18 months and can’t walk away yet. I renewed a contract a few days ago at their Lakeside Thurrock store, I had a query regarding my contract and tried to phone their number it rang constantly and then you get an automated reply to leave a message but cuts off before you can. All I have to say about Vodafone is - Any extra minutes,texts, or mobile data that you use is charged at a ludicrously expensive rate! - Poor customer services, you spend forever in a queue! - Despite the high charges, and higher extra charges, they pay no corporation tax. “Awful Service”

Tried to port a number to Vodafone from my old provider. Was told it would be done within 24 hours and to keep my phone off until after 24 hours to let it port. 

It wasn't done after this time so I called them, they said it would be done by 4pm the next day (another 24 hours). Still wasn't done. Phoned again. They said it would be done by 8pm. Still nothing, phoned again at 9pm to be told it would be done by midnight. Still not done by 8am so called to cancel my entire new contract.

“Pile of pants continues as I get my PAK codes -...”

Only been with Vodafone for a week - not able to access or set up my on-line account as the wrong email was the 'Username' also they have two databases (one being C-Board/See-Board) and one wouldn't show my number while the other wouldn't show my account details. Nearly 2 hours, 4 phone calls, no one answering, repeating my details 6 times. Then finally told that although i had already passed security , the last guy decided i had got a question wrong for him so he would not help me. Indian call centre, pass you from one dept to another, on hold for aeons, same music blaring over and over. Unhelpful staff. Told me tp gp to the nearesr store (30 miles for me).
