Been with Vodafone for long 8 years. Since had a business phone from work didnt really care as much. Problems started when I lost my phone about 2 years ago while riding my motorbike, when I walked into the store the lady was trying to screen throug to check if I was telling the truth. they are a shocking company and I hope everything is resolved now. I have had so so many problems with them and they always leave me frustrated with no solutions to my problems

Hi all,

My story begun when I have signed up for a new 24m contract with vodafone. I took about 6 days to receive the handset. I requested to be delivered to the local shop which was quiet handy. When I got home and opened the box I noticed the headset is reconditioned and it isn't new. I immediately gave them a call it took me about 30 minutes to get through to the right department after 3 redirection etc... (horrible customer service BTW.).

“I walked into the Canary Wharf shop during my lunch...”

I walked into the Canary Wharf shop during my lunch break to sign up for a new business phone. It was busy, and only the manager was free (just standing there looking around). I asked her for assistance but she just told me to wait for someone else. After queueing for about 20 minutes, I had to leave to get back to work. In their busier stores Vf use a system called Q-matic which means customers get served in the order they arrive instore, dependant on their query. The 'lazy manager' will have been the person responsible for running the qmatic system at that time.Meaning tickets are issued (same system used in the postoffice!) The person you call lazy was actually performing the most important role in one of the busiest VF stores in the country. If EVERY member of staff is serving there is then nobody to maintain any form of queue order so people become served out of turn/not at all resulting in poor service. Im sure they would happily sacrifice one impatient customer for the beneifit of providing and excellent service to the masses. You cannot walk instore one of VF's busiest stores, at lunchtime and expect to be served instantly!! It sounds like YOU are at fault, not the manageress.

I disagree, I joined in the aftercare section of the company, and they seem to bend over backwards for their customers.
