I know that living in a rural area doesn't often provide good signal, but moving from one foot to the next almost loses us two or three signal bars. It's ridiculous and renders making calls virtually a complete waste of time.
As a result of this, we decided to move from a contract, which had massively run it's course, to a pay as you go, as all we really found ourselves using the phone for was texting a handful of people.
Vodafone gaves us a template email advising us how to do this, which we followed. We were told that the alterations would be made automatically. Imagine our surprise (not that great surprise) when we received a notification a month later that our bill was overdue. We had cancelled our DD as the contract had been cancelled, however they seem to have done nothing. Another month has passed and we still haven't moved forward despite numerous discussions.
Fed up and would not recommend. Thinking about changing to EE.
