I don't know how they train staff there but seems like they allow their staff to say anything out of their head if the staff is unhappy that a customer wants to return a product.

I visited the branch in Tottenham Court Road and refunded a contract. Whilst my number is ported to a network. I need to request a new PAC Code from my old network and had given it to Vodafone, the new provider. According to the person who works in Tottenham Court Road Carphone Warehouse on the 16.07.2014, when asked if the transfer will go through, she said that more than 90% of people who refunded the contract and ported the number will lose the number and never get it back.

To clarify this, that is untrue, though this is an example of how badly trained the staff in Carphone Warehouse is to give such inaccurate information. I am sure there are better trained staff out there who. Though I would advice to avoid that branch. Since they do not give accurate information.

And after ringing customer services a few times (more than once =_='), I got through to one a very nice staff named Gerri, who is willing to use her time to help sort things out for me.
