Bought iphone 4s in store CARPHONE WAREHOUSE BISHOPSGATE LONDON, staff member installed sim, contract sent via email but password locked but not by me. Next day I Ring the shop & customer services who insist I must have set up password but Impossible as i was not aware it would come with an attachment with a password requirement & if i had i always use the same one but it did not work.
Explaining this to over the phone to the actual store getting nowhere I then asked for staff members name at which HE HANG UP ON ME! Tried ringing back but they did not answer.
TO make matters worse when i looked through the box I realised the 2 apple booklets were missing the quick manual & manufacturing booklet. In the store the staff member had set up phone with sim card so only noticed later that night going through the box. I called them the next day to inform them the booklets were missing and was told IT DOES NOT COME WITH APPLE BOOKLETS! What a load of nonsense it is standard in all iphone boxes confirmed by APPLE. Returned to store with complete confidence this is the case but was told by some idiot no their phones are the only ones that do not come with booklets & have never seen these booklets full stop.
I then produced my old booklets for iphone 4 & confirmed Apple states in the box it is standard. After 10mins of arguing my point he goes to the back office returning with a booklet and said this is NOT A MANUAL it clearly says guide & is the same booklet I showed him from my iphone 4 but has iphone 4s but he continues to argues this is not a manual which I POINT OUT YOU HAVE MISSED MY POINT that booklet what ever you call it was missing from my box. He then says maybe it was left out by staff member BUT IT DOES NOT MATTER YOU DO NOT NEED IT & YOU LEFT WITH THE PHONE WORKING.
Total disreguard that my the packaging to my new phone was incomplete which i paid for a NEW ITEM. IT then ocurred to me the item was not sealed when sold to me so with missing booklets makes me suspicious they sold a pre opened phone to me . DO NOT TRUST THEM OR GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. fisrt day of phone & have had 5 sale messages and call from them with no doubt more to come.
