Nice looking phone. Good camera, great battery life. A great value phone - I paid £180 for mine and it's still going strong. I have had mine for a couple of years and it still looks new.

The Sharp GX20 is a good mobile phone.

The Sharp GX20 phone produced one of the best quality pictures ever. Bought this phone couple of years ago and until I sold it recently it has been one of the better phones I have used.
Camera is awesome, comes with flash and everything, and you can brighten up your pictures with colourful wallpapers or emoticons loaded in the original phone features. Seriously, it is still one of the best camera phones out there, despite the influx of newer camera phones. It will certainly stand out now especially the price is lower nowadays.
The phone comes with a composer so you can compose your own ringtone if needed.
Perhaps only downpoint is that the phone has not got bluetooth, and also lack Nokia-ish user friendliness features.
Otherwise, will recommend this phone.

I've had three Sharp GX20 mobile phones in the last 12 months. One wouldn't charge, the replacement had a camera that didn't work, but third time, so far so good! thank goodness it is on contract, so it is replaced without question. I absolutely adore this phone, and when it comes to the time to upgrade, I will give the new phone away and keep this one! Nothing else touches it.

Had my Sharp GX20 for about 15 months and been very happy. Looking to upgrade but finding it difficult both to part with the GX20 and to find a phone of a higher quality.

In all I would give the Sharp GX20 5/10 as it is not worth the high price charged for it.

The Sharp GX20 has:
- Good Games
- Picture Quality Is Good - Very Clear
- Sound Quality Is Good - Very Loud, Louder Than Most Phones
- Screen Quality Is Good - Very Clear And Easy To Read
I Really Like This Phone because it's everything I need except an MP3 player. I like listening to music so this would be great.
Quite good battery life but mine never runs out because I put mine on charge every night so I dont know really how long it lasts.

Very good phone. Quite exciting to find out how it works because I really enjoyed exploring it and it helps if you don't know anyone with the same phone. It's bad because it has no bluetooth but that's not important to everyone. However, it's a great phone with a cool camera and video technology etc and I recommend it completely!!!

The GX20 is another good quality camera phone from Sharp. The camera quality is good allowing you to use the the different colour flash lights available. You can also edit images by adding frames, text and special effects. This phone is very easy to use and has a nice clam shell design. However there is no bluetooth and Mp3 player these are available on the newer model Sharp X30. These phone are exclusively on Vodafone though.

I have had a Sharp GX20 phone now for a month. Generally I am very satisfied with it. The thing that bothers me most is that when the phone is opened and I am writing, I have a bad feeling that phone will slip out of my hands because the part where the screen is, it's way too heavy. The second thing is that you can't write, send or receive email, except over the Vodafone mail. But this is useless for me. The third thing is that the navi button and two buttons under the screen aren't lightened at night, so you can't see them well. The menu's could be better organized, but you get used to them. You can't have access to the numbers saved on the sim card and phone. You have to choose manually which memory you want to use. Despite of good camera, the total memory is only 2.5 MB, so it is easy to fill it with pictures and especially video. It supports polyphonic melody's with only 16 voices, most other phone's (also much cheaper supports 24, 40 or more). The bad thing is also that you see anything on external screen, if you don't turn the light on. You also can't accept calls by simply opening the phone, but always manually. At least the phone's have a button to accept calls, or you can do it also with button on the side of the phone (if any key answer is on).

I had the GX20 for just over a week and found it frustrating to use. I do a lot of texting and I could not get to grips with the texting on this phone. The dictionary would never remember words that I have entered which was very annoying. The calendar was very basic I found it pretty useless. It's a big phone and I did not like using it in public.
Okay so the camera is great, and has a flash but that's all I could find that was good about the phone. It seemed to me that when the phone was made they concentrated on the camera rather than making the other features better.
Overall it looks smart and has a decent screencamera but that was not what I was looking for. I wanted a phone that was compact and had lots of functionality and features.

The Sharp GX20 is by far the best phone on the market it's got a camera, a video rec, and java games to play on if your bored. Plus with this phone you will look trendy with it cause it looks smooth.

The Sharp GX20 mobile phone has a number of brilliant funtions like for example the super camara and a camcorder which is great for capturing great moments. Overall i think the GX20 is an excellent phone with a torch you can turn into a disco light. I say to anyone who wants a camara phone they should get the GX20.

I haven't bought this Sharp GX20 mobile phone yet, although I really REALLY want to! :) It has a load of features with it: Great camera (better than the GX10i), cool games, java enabled, video recorder for 20 seconds, voice recorder, loads of great ringtones and more to download! It also has a brilliant clamshell design and is fairly small for a phone of it's capeability... it's also a vodafone live handset which is also a great extra!!! Please mum! let me get it!

I've only had this Sharp GX20 mobile phone about five hours but so far I have no complaints at all! I was originally going to get the Sharp GX30 however they were out of stock. The not so great thing about the GX30 is the MP3 player cannot store a lot and is very complicated with the GX20 they give you a free MP3 player which is better than the one on the GX30! So i get the best of both worlds. It's a very attractive phone which has great photo quality and video quality. It also has a voice recorder which is useful for memos. This phone is light weight and has loads on it, I would definitely recommend it!
Certainly one of the best (if not the best) phone on the market now.

The photos and video clips on the Sharp GX20 mobile phone are great quality. This phone is the best in the world! I had a 3310 for 5 years and this is perfect for taking snaps of classic memories! I'm 19 and this phone is great for going out! Also has LOADS of space for txts, photos and video clips! Video clips last about 10-12 seconds. You can see who's calling by picture instead of the name!

This Sharp GX20 is a great mobile phone. I had to wait ages to get the money together as its not cheap but its well worth it.i had to pay some more money for a data cable as the infered was to much hassle and doesnt work.the camera is the best ive seen on a phone and its better than my mates digital camera.the video capture is good aswell but u can only record 10 seconds with sound and 20 secs without.once u have some pics on there u can edit them in funs ways like put frames round them.overall this is the best phone out there untill the gx30 comes out in april/

This Sharp GX20 is a great mobile phone that competes and beats most nokias but buy the gx10i. unless you want to waste £100

This Sharp GX20 mobile phone is undoubtedly the best phone on the market. Whether you're looking for an easy-to-use simple phone or the ultimate multimedia device, this phone is the one for you. The camera, screen resolution and excellent quality of pictures make this phone great for taking pictures. Excellent features include: camera, resolution, flash & built-in-torch (includes disco light), video camera (great quality for a camera phone), Infra-red for PC connection, excellent software (The best i have ever seen [my old sony ericsson phone crashed frequently, as did my Nokia 8310] on a phone), Java games, Calculater, calendar, currency converter, Polyphonic ringtones, Vodafone live access and MORE!
Compared to some of its competitors, the Sharp GX20 outdoes every other phone by far. The E700 does not match the GX20's excellent picture quality, and the external screen viewfinder on the GX20 is far better than that of the E700. The torch is really bright, a lot better than what i was expecting for such a small light on the front of the phone.
Some people have complained abput battery life, but when you have finished hammering it for all of its features you should get a good 4 days out of it with some use of calls, texts, camera and torch use.

Read the manual again. You can set the phone so that you read both phone and sim card memory (phone numbers) together. Also you can enter the WAP address of your webmail service in the list of WAP/Internet addresses and then access it direct from the phone without using Vodafone's email service. If you use Yahoo for example, you can pull images off their site and save them to the phone. Images from anywhere on any subject.
