I was recommended to use i-phone repairs by a friend and cost-wise they are certainly cheaper than Apple, my back screen had broken on the i-phone 4 and I was charged £35 plus £10 postage all in, which is very good.
I was kept waiting three extra days for the part to come in and so total turn-round was 12 days if I remember rightly. 12 days seemed OK, I would have been extremly happy if it was less (my friend had told me his took 7 days), but the point which made the wait completely acceptable was that I was kept up to speed by automated e-mail about the progress of my order, which was really excellent. I knew that there was a delay, I knew that the part was on order, I knew when the part arrived and I knew when my phone was actually being fitted with the new part - And then of course I knew that it had been despatched, all of this down to the automated e-mail system driven by inputs at i-phone-repirs' end. Really good.
