fixed my screen a couple of weeks ago. I had a slight issue after use and popped it in for them to take a look and the screen was replaced under warranty. First class service. Brilliant customer service.

Great service with a smile, very helpful. I ran over my phone with my car it was in a right state, was bent and wasn't coming on at all. Took it to The Phone Hut, thinking they wouldn't be able to do much with it as it was in that much of a state. Amazingly they managed to bend it back into position and replace the screen. I was made up!!!!!

“DO NOT USE”

I wish I could give this shop less than 1 star but I can't. iPhone 5s screen died in April, took it to this shop for a replacement. Reasonably happy despite there being a read dot (assuming to be a dead pixel) on the screen. 5 days later, the phone fell from my bed onto carpet and the screen cracked! Clearly this was a very cheap screen if it can break on carpet. Took it to the shop again on 27/06/2015, screen replaced with the recommendation to buy a tempered glass screen. Less than 4 hours later, out walking my dog in a park I took the phone out of my pocket to take a photo, less than 5 minutes later got the phone out of my pocket to take another photo, the screen had cracked. Emailed the shop who said to bring it in and they will sort it. I had a call today advising they can tell I have dropped the phone which is nonsense! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! They clearly use cheap, defective screens and their customer care is abysmal.

Thank you for taking the time to review our business Pete and sorry you feel disappointed with your experience whilst we appreciate your comments.

You did have a screen done by us the first time and there was a dead pixel out on the screen witch we was more than happy to change for you free of charge and you walked away happy with the screen.

You then came in on the Saturday 27th of June to have a new screen as you have damaged it so there was a screen supplied and fitted for you and you bought a tempered glass and you have claimed that a crack has appeared on its own. you emailed us and we quickly responded to bring the phone in so we could have a look in to it and see why this has happened.

When you have brought the phone in at 5:20pm on Monday the 29th of June we was unable to look in to it until Tuesday morning but on further inspection, the tempered glass which has been installed onto the phone has been cracked identically the same as all the cracks on the actual full unit we have fitted for you.It is impossible for the glass to crack on its own. We called you to tell you what our findings was but you was over speaking my colleague as we was trying resolve the issue but was unable to. We will happily forward photos of the cracks on your screen that match the cracks on your tempted glass, This could only happen with great impact to cause damage to tempered glass to. We have GREAT confidence in our work, and we proud ourselves in our customer service and we always make sure our customers walk away satisfied,

“AVOID”

They were very friendly to start with but messed up the screen replacement on my phone. Samsung UK said it was a botch job, even the wrong glass was used! They were less than friendly when I tried to sort it out. Will never go near this place again.

“Botched repair - awful service and attitude”

Left an LG nexus 4 for repair of cracked rear glass. On collection new glass was not raised at base and on one side. Phone Hut un-accepting that this was incorrect, stating as they had to use tape rather than glue and did not have the press to press flat it would look like that. After lengthy argument (from me - shop owner refused to discuss or acknowledge "didn't need to be talked to like that", even though i was not rude and did not shout - told me there was no profit in the job and "just likes to do what they can to help people out") they took the back off to show me they had done it right, but on re fitting the glass they actually inadvertently improved the fit!! (but still wouldn't admit any fault) Still botched as the plastic surround has been chewed up where they levered the old glass (clearly nothing used to try and protect or minimise this - multiple points of damage) and as they lifted and reseated it on the same tape, the back glass is already lifting off again after just an hour - so will have to send somewhere else at additional cost. Please do learn from my mistake, find an alternative repair centre - mail order or local.

well ive used this company as i own a insurance company to repair customers phones and eveything they do is a1 .use this company coz they are the best in the north west and fast growing they already have 4 shops so they must be doing something right .so PHONE HUT UK is the number one company to use

I took my phone in to phone hut uk for a repair as all the other company told me it was beyond repair as it had been water damaged, they had the phone powering on with in a few hours, really happy and will recommend this company to any one with a fault with there device, thanks phone hut uk

“Horrific!!”

My ex left my sons blackberry 9900 into The Phone Hut to have a damaged screen replaced. They told her it would be ready later that evening, or in the morning. She called at 5ish to be told that it would be ready in the morning. By 2pm the next day, we still didnt have the phone back. My ex understandably likes to be able to connect our son when he's out with his friends (he's 12) and was getting anxious that the repair would run into the weekend, so I called them to ask if they had any idea when it would be ready. I got a ton load of attitude, telling me that they were doing their best and that they've had to wait for a part to come in, and that I wasn't his only customer. Hey, I understand that within any supply chain there will always be delays. I tried to explain that maybe they shouldn't have told us it would be ready the previous evening or that morning when those deadlines couldn't be met - but all along the guy was rude and defensive. He said it should be ready in an hour, and we agreed to disagree and ended the call. Speaking to my ex later that evening she mentions that this guy told her that I was rude earlier!! I called him back to contest this complete lack of understanding for customer service, and guess what... He hung the phone up on me! The repair cost £45 and now the phone keeps freezing, and the speaker is really muffled and its difficult to hear the caller. I'll be taking it to a blackberry specialist to have it completely overhauled as its obvious he's not properly tested the handset after repair. Avoid at all costs
