“Do not go to igadgets recycled to sell your mob”

Written on: 13/11/2014 by Amber66 (1 review written)

Disgraceful company and avoid igadgets recycled at all costs. I sent them my Blackberry mobile phone expecting to get £43, however they only offered me £30 as they said it was scratched and damaged on the screen and back cover. My mob phone had been looked after and didn't have a single mark on it, so I was surprised to hear this from them. However because I had heard that the company may make false statements on the condition of phones to bring the price down I took pictures before I sent… Read Full Review

“Worst place to sell your phone ”

Written on: 13/11/2014 by Rachyh1402 (1 review written)

Firstly, they offered me £90 for my phone. They then spent 15 days looking at my phone which I think is too long. I then received a email stating I would be receiving £60 within the next 12 days. When I contacted them about why they are paying me less and I would rather my phone back, they said they sent me an email about it and I didn't confirm so they have sold my phone and I can only receive £60( I never received an email) It's now been over a month in total and I still haven't been… Read Full Review

“disgraceful company. Use at your peril.”

Written on: 12/11/2014 by georgze (1 review written)

I wish that I had found this site and these reviews before sending my phones to them. The company has a 100% pay what we quote guarantee. This is worthless. What they call a working phone means brand new. I sent 2 phones an S4 in mint condition and a s4 zoom with cosmetic damage. Both fully functioning working phones. When they get your phone they 'test' it and send you an email reducing the offer. THEIR OWN SERVER marks this in the message header as SPAM. In their T&Cs it says 'you… Read Full Review

“Avoid at all costs”

Written on: 10/11/2014

I sent in a Sony Xperia z that had been in a case since new in perfect working order, they then decided to take a chunk off the agreed price saying the phone was chipped, this was total nonsense. When I received the phone back after declining the offer the phone was still switched on and they had removed the factory fitted anti shatter screen protector which is fitted to most xperias, and removal of this invalidates the manufacturers warranty, thanks very much igadgets, send your phone at your… Read Full Review

Sent phone to pay for daughters school residential deposit. Nothing!!! No replies to emails, reported to watchdog, police and fraud squad. The only positive feedback you will read is what igadgets have put down themselves. Don't know how they sleep at night! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!… Read Full Review

“Do not waste your time”

Written on: 10/11/2014 by 363Castro (1 review written)

Website stated £53 so we went with that as I've had no issues in the past with other recycle sites, iGadget sent us a very thin and flimsy bag to post the phone in so we had to find our own bag to ensure the phone was protected in the post. Once they received it they told us the camera didn't work properly apparently it was blurry and the phone was in poor condition and offered us £5. Obviously we declined this and they charged us £5 to have the phone returned. There is nothing wrong with… Read Full Review

“A Big Mistake”

Written on: 08/11/2014 by IsabellaBailey (1 review written)

When i received a vastly different offer than originally anticpated along with an email trying to encourage me to leave positive feedback and receive an extra £5, my suspicions were raised. Now a month later i still have not received payment (only 40% of the original offer) and doubt i ever will. … Read Full Review

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ”

Written on: 06/11/2014 by McKinnonra327 (1 review written)

Do not use this company, they don't pay you what they originally quote, they make out that the phone is scratched so offer you a greatly reduced price, or they charge you to send the phone back to you. Then they take ages to pay you the money, I've been waiting 3 weeks and still haven't received my money. Wish I had never sent my phone to them… Read Full Review

“Appalling company, avoid like the plague!”

Written on: 05/11/2014 by McIntyre343 (1 review written)

They may tempt you in with high prices, but the reality is they will underpay you because of some made up 'faults', very poor communication and 6 weeks later I am still waiting for my money. Takes 3 days of calling constantly to get to speak to anyone, this company is an absolute joke… Read Full Review

“Warning! ”

Written on: 04/11/2014 by Angiep102 (1 review written)

QUICK WARNING: They will often offer the highest price but will be quick to lower it or claim device is broken and offer £5 as per their 'policy'! AVOID! My Partner wanted to recycle her phone and understandably went for the company that offered the best price on a comparison site. She was offered £49 for her Galaxy Nexus by igadgetsrecycled and requested a postage pack to be sent to her. Not only did this take ages to arrive (eating into the time sensitive offer), but when it arrived it… Read Full Review

“Disgraceful company”

Written on: 04/11/2014 by Klein1954 (1 review written)

Avoid this company at all costs, they are fast to say they have received your phone but even quicker to reduce the amount they will pay for the phone. They do not stick to the 10 day payment promise and do not answer the phone, slow to answer emails. Took so long to get my payment that I lost count of the week's. I will never use them again, will go back to the tried and trusted companies in future… Read Full Review

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!”

Written on: 03/11/2014

Very disappointed, gave me a quote of £100 for sony xperia z, used, in good condition & full working order (I have proof of this) Everything was fine up until the point I got an email back after sending the phone to them telling me the phone had pixel damage so was therefore faulty and it was infact an xperia e not a z which is an absolute joke! The phone was in perfect working order and was definitely an xperia z (I have receipt direct from o2 to prove this) My new offer was £0 they said… Read Full Review

“DO NOT USE!!!”

Written on: 31/10/2014 by Rileygx170 (1 review written)

I sent them my Samsung S3, and was quoted £84, upon receiving my mobile and checks carried out I was then emailed stating that my mobile had scratches on the back and screen???? and was given a revised quote for my mobile of £50, I had the option to decline which I did straight away. My mobile was sent back free of charge ( which is the only good thing I can say about this company). I then read up about igadgets to find that they offer one cash amount before you send and then reduced once… Read Full Review

“Disgraceful Company DO NOT USE”

Written on: 30/10/2014 by inchyfurness (1 review written)

My order number was 44964 and I sent this Igadgetsrecycled my Samsung S3.I was offered 89 pounds for the phone and like other reviews I have read I sent the phone wrapped in bubble wrap to avoid damage in transit. I received the email saying my phone had arrived but did not receive any subsequent emails regarding offers after testing. I rang up ten days later, was made to wait 30 minutes, then met by a rude lady who was no help whatsoever. She informed of the derisory offer of FIFTY POUNDS due… Read Full Review

“Dreadful fraudulent company”

Written on: 30/10/2014 by Jessica11 (1 review written)

I sent my Samsung galaxy s3 to i-gadgets recycled expecting £84 for it. It was in mint condition and even had the protective plastic layer over the front of the phone still. I checked emails daily waiting for it to get tested (this is meant to take 3 working days). After 10 days I emailed them via the website - no response. After 12 days I phoned them and was told it had been checked and was with the finance team so should get an an email shortly. On day 13 I get an email saying my account… Read Full Review

Exactly the same thing has happened to me Im sure I spoke to the same rude woman as well. I have issued a complaint to them and await a response but I am willing to go to trading standards. Did you get anywhere with your complaint.

They offered me 89 ponds for my brand new S3 and then offered 50 pounds after I rang ten days later.

Hi - I wish I'd been on this review website before choosing to go with I gadgets recycled as it's nothing but negative feedback and annoyed customers! I am going to make an official complaint then go to trading standards if my case isn't dealt with by I gadgets recycled. They don't have a link to this review website from their web page so make sure you leave your comments on the review company they have a link to from their website.
