DO NOT BOTHER

We sent off 2 iphones separately (not as one transaction). The first one that arrived we had an instant email saying the phone was scratched/damaged and they offered £20 off the original quoted price. I declined and said to send the phone back as I knew the phone was in good condition. Then received an email upping the offer by £10 which I accepted but was not happy about them trying to knock me down. But having spent £7 on sending it to them I decided to cut my losses and accept their £10 lower offer. Then lo and behold the next phone they received we got exactly the same email offering a lower price. This phone was pristine with not a mark on it so they were obviously trying it on. Again we asked for phone to be sent back for them to then up their offer. Think again we settled for £10 less than the original price offered. So it looks to me like this company beat all other competitors with their initial offer price (we usually use Envirofone) and then when they receive it they knock the price down to lower than what the competitors would have offered if we'd gone with them. Anyway that's not the end of the story. Their website says "Payments are issued after acceptance of any up to offers. Payments will reach you within 10 working days. All cheques are issued same day via 2nd class mail". After much chasing we finally received payment after a month. Do not touch these with a bargepole, would certainly not recommend. Take a few quid less and go with one of the bigger known phone recyclers. We've learned a valuable lesson! I also imagine the reviews on their website are probably from friends and family!
