they will half your original quote!

Hi, I don't normally use recycling companies for my handsets, so I had a look online to see which one gave the best return on my handset. Igadgets quoted £88 against mazola which was £65. Now that was a big difference, I read through the terms and conditions for igadets, that stated if it had deep scratches, dents, faults or missing parts it will be reduced by 35%,the phone obviously had been used so normal wear and tear but nothing that would suggest it fell into these categories. I waited weeks from the date they emailed to say it was received, then I received an email saying "great news the money will be sent to my bank account in the next 3 days" unfortunately it stated £58 rather than the agreed £88, I was not happy. I called them up to discuss the reasons, she said it had deep scratches on the basal which was untrue, their were light cosmetic scratches to the surface not deep. I stated this and she said it was too late as the phone had already been recycled? What? She said that It had stated the reasons on email sent a week ago and I had 3 days to respond if I had any problems, I said I never received this email? She said it was sent. Now I only received 3 emails, the order, the one stating it's been recieved and will be tested , and the final one telling me the payment, nothing else. She said it was sent. What do I do, nothing I can do, life is too short. They definitely take advantage of you, I don't believe they actually sent the email, as I would have received it. My advice use someone else, these guys will offer you more to hook you in and then offer you less in the final offer. I don't believe they ever wanted to pay the original quote, why on earth it takes almost a month to switch on a phone to confirm functionality and that it's in good cosmetic condition, really! These guys are not recommended, if you use them expect to lose money and become frustrated with the outcome. Too much competition to waste your time, use someone else who is more established and as a proven track record. I wish I had read these reviews before deciding to use them. Even though mazola offered £65 it was a guarantee d amount which was in fact more than what I received. Things are never straightforward in life, but avoiding these guys will help.
