Undervalued & very slow payment

Firstly having gone onto compares recycle.co.uk to undertake a comparison to identify which recycling company paid the most for my IPhone 4S 32GB paid quickly and had good reviews. This site identified I gadgets recycled as one of the highest rated however my experience of using them was far from good. Firstly my handset was valued by them at £154 which was one of the best on the site but upon sending my handset in via special delivery and a few days passing and them conducting there tests I received an email to say my handset had unfortunately failed to meet there grading requirements due to "excessive wear to the rear and excessive wear to the bezel" this was a surprise to me having always had the phone in a case and the phone was generally in good condition. There revised offer was £101 made on the 27/11/13 and they gave me 3 days to accept or decline and noted that if I declined I had to pay a £5 handling charge as well as postage. Having already paid £7 postage to send the phone I decided reluctantly to just proceed with the revised offer, I accepted on the 28/11/13. Following this I received an email to confirm my acceptance and that BACS payment are made within 5 working days this is contrary to the comparison website that just says 3 days. 4 working days passed and no payment so I emailed them and was informed that payment is made 3-5 working days after the date of acceptance and that the date of acceptance wasn't considered a working day the email also stated payment would leave them the following day. A further 7 working days passed until payment was received in my bank account.

In short avoid this company with there high initial offers which turn out to not be true and lengthy payment timescale.
