I sent a phone to fonehub on the 26th April in theyre own padded envelope since that day it has been missing nothing updated on website i have tried day after day to ring them i have emailed every day as they say they will answer emails within 24hrs but nothing after looking at another review site it seems that the only phones they actually say they have recieved are ones sent recorded delivery as they have to sign for them every comment i have read from them says that royal mail deal with... For god sake don't send your phone to these guys. Yes, they offer more, but the hassle just isn't worth it. At least Mazuma pay by the next day. Send your phone in to these guys and you'll be waiting...and waiting...and waiting...day after day, 1 weeks, 2 weeks....etc. Go with a trusted buyer. Less money, but at least you get the money (read more)

“Another Downgraded Offer.”

Like many I was attracted to Fonehub by their good offer on a comparison website. My old phone was only valued at £15, and the e mails and return envelopes arrived promptly, as did the e mail confirming they had recieved my phone. However a day or so later they sent another e mail saying that as my phone had scratches on it they were revising their offer down to £10. My issues are: 1. I sent my xperia s special delivery. Four days later i had no reply. Was quoted £135, So i phoned them up, after several minutes being engaged then the phones just ringing out. Finally get through. asked what was happening as i should be paid by now. Woman said she is away to find out. Came back said there is a fault (Which is a lie) Says i will be e-mailed the results shortly. Ive had exactly the same problems, never even managed to speak to anyone, lines always engaged or just ring out, and have sent several emails, however i did eventually get a responce when i advised them that i will be reporting the phone to the police as stolen as i never received payment and that i had taken photos of the phone and know it wasnt scratched or damaged and that i will be contacting trading standards. 1 hour later low and behold i have an email stating that they have reviewed it and shall be sending my full amount. whether this happens only time will tell, but i shall keep on their case, only wish others didnt have to go through the same rigmarole as thats what they relie on, other people just accepting the low offers. So, Checked out the comparison sites for mobile recycling,fonehub seemed the best price and the most trustworthy on the list,boy was i wrong, was quoted £130 for my iPhone 4 16gb, posted it special del. on thursday afternoon and it was recieved as planned on the friday so far so good. monday comes and goes with no communication from the company at all,cant phone them because the line is CONSTANTLY ENGAGED! the week goes by and i finally get an email on the thursday, (5 FULL DAYS after... “Are these a good company”

For anyone is thinking "are these a good company to use to sell on my old mobile phones", the answer is yes. They couldn't be easier. No waiting for a prepaid jiffy to arrive. Simply save all your old jiffy bags from parcels, use a Freepost address, pop them in the post and hey presto they do everything else. Have used these guys twice now and I have used some of the other companies out there. Fonehub offer the best prices I have found so far, so I would definitely recommend them. (read more)
