like others I fell for the good price that they were offering for a blackberry passport. but when they received it the price was knocked down because they claimed there were scuff marks on the casing, this was impossible because the phone had been kept in a plastic case from day one. I did not receive any post bag to send the phone in to start off with. Which is a poor showing comparing this is just standard practice with other sites. I then sent the phone in with my own bag and via recorded delivery on 12/04/16. This got to them on 13/04/16 according to Royal Mail. Fonehub Ltd advertises higher prices just to get your business and then makes up random defects so that they won't pay the agreed amount. From my own personal experience I would not recommend them. However, if you do decide to use them, make sure that you take plenty of evidence before sending (i.e. photo, video, etc). I sent two phones to Fonehub and received an email notification from them that the iPhone 6 Plus I sent them was locked to the EE network when it was an unlocked phone and also the phone was damaged - they offered a new valuation to which I responded advising this was false and that I would be placing a stop on the IMEI until it was returned to me. I was quoted £13 for my phone which I was pleased with, I sent it off as required, the phone was in immaculate condition. I received an email from them saying the offer was revised and it was now £0. When contacted they said it was because the sim was still inside. I replied that I had the sim with me, they said they would re check the phone. Quoted £175, after sending reduced to £130 due to 'broken sensor' which prevents the screen from switching off during a call. This is a common Samsung bug due to dust and is fixed with a wipe of the screen. Wish I had checked reviews before using this company. They hold your phone for ransom by suggesting you pay special delivery and then charging extortionate for the return if you don't like the reduced offer. “Treat with caution!”

I was very disappointed after seeing 99% customer satisfaction on their website to have such appalling service. After receiving my order they took a week to get back to me. They said that because the phone was from the USA they were now going to offer me nothing for the phone. They forst offer me £65, then i had to pay extra to get the phone sent recorded delivery. They get the phone and tell me there is more than usual scratches to the phone and the sensor is not working. This phone was used by someone who kept the phone at home and didnt know how to use it properly so there are no marks at all on the phone and everything was working. I wish I had checked out reviews before sending the phone away but like so many people, I sent away a perfect phone, well packaged, for a price of 180 pounds. They then emailed to say a whole series of cosmetic and operational issues were present and they would now only offer 40 pounds.
