Can only validate the other reviews here. I had a SIM card for the iPad. After a few years didn't need any more, so began process to cancel.
Step 1 April 28 spoke to customer chat online, oh good I thought, an easy way to do this..........2 hours later and he STILL refused to just cancel, try this, why not keep it and do this, you may still want to use it when....bla bla bla, endless repeats. Y me not working. I cut him off.
Step 2. April Demanded speak to supervisor. Told her why and what happened DAY before. She processed the cancellation.
Step 3 June 5 Go to shop to ask why another payment had been taken. Shop explain have to give a month's notice. Which means you pay another mo th after you give a month's notice. Clear as mud. Cancel DD to avoid other charges.
Step 4. Letter saying owe money. Ignore as must be error.
Step 5. October Find entry on credit file saying owe Vodophone. Only.
Step 6 November 2 visit shop. They print bill showing owe £24.17 up to August....they give billing contact no as they cannot deal in shop.
Step 7 8 and 9 Vodophone say passed to debt collector and they now own the. Pint and have all the information
Debt agency say no, it on their listing, Back to Vodophone THIS BIT IS GOOD Advisor finds my account and can see my call to cancel, and somehow it has failed to be ??? 'Captured' by the PC technical department ???? But she can correctorise it, o I never heard that word before either......Nd send a confirming email, and, wait for it, she actually apologised on behalf of Vodafone for all my trouble.
She is the one bright spark in a black hole that calls itself Vodophone.
