I have been trying to cancel my mobile phone contract since the last 8 month as unfortunately I don't receive any reception in my area. Despite calling the help service several times to complain, they said I cannot cancel and that I would have to pay £300 to cancel it (this is in spite of the fact that they themselves admitted that reception was poor in my local area). I am very disappointed that they cannot even offer a solution to this, as unfortunately I have been stuck with a 24 month contract paying £36 a month. I cant call or receive any phone calls and despite telling virgin this, they still wont let me cancel.
I have been a virgin customer for at least 10 years, I pay for broadband, landline, tv and now (unfortunately mobile). I am so disappointed with their attitude. My advice- don't get a virgin mobile contract!
