I purchased a blackberry curve 8520 in May 2011. In May 2012 my charging port had been removed accidentally. The phone was still under warranty but virgin did not fix it. They said it was my fault. I got a second opinion and a small phone shop told me it was down to poor workmanship which is covered under virgins policy. They still did not take any action. The staff were rude and unhelpful. They sounded foreign which meant the call centre was probably abroad and they kept keeping me on hold. The call was a fortune. My insurance company however are replacing the phone without a problem. When using virgin mobile, I personally found that the signal was quite weak and I lost it frequently. I would not recommend virgin mobile to anyone. You get what you pay for. Cheap price, poor service. In future I will not be using virgin again despite their cheap and competitive prices on the market.
