I decided to take the leap and sign up to EE for my wife's phone (previously on T-Mobile). They transferred the account over from T-Mobile to EE and gave me completely separate billing.
I got a bill for £347 for over-usage of Data and unfortunately the payment went out via direct debit before I could stop it.
T-Mobile claims it is over-usage of data (although there is a cap on the contract!). Further the contract had moved over to EE by then so there should be no bill on that number anyway.
T-Mobile advised it could be up to 14 days, maybe even longer before they assess the account and recalculate. But what is there to recalculate, it is an charge on an account that clearly does not exist anymore!
