My phone was stolen this morning. I had heard that iPhones could be tracked online so phoned the Lost and Stolen line where I waited for 20 minutes and was told that there is no way of tracking an iPhone. I notified the people at my office it was gone (it was taken in the office and I thought if I had dropped it it might be handed in) but was told no phone had been handed in. I then phoned to have the phone blacklisted and was told it could be unblacklisted again if necessary.
An hour later a colleage told me I could track the phone through I cloud so I phoned to have the phone unblocked as was told this could not be done for 24 hours. Had I been able to track it immediatly it would still be in the office and it would be found. In 24 hours it will be long gone.
Since the iPhone is the best selling phone call centre staff should know it can be tracked online. however, people finding their phones is not in T-Mobiles interest so perhaps procedures are in place to limit this from happening.

You sir, are an idiot. The "Find my iPhone" tool is NOT SUPPORTED BY CARRIERS, and is used by you, and only you. The most they can do is blacklist your sim. If you loose it, it's YOUR fault and your fault ALONE.
