I was fed up with the signal I got with Vodafone, and a friend recommended Orange, but they are a bit pricey - So I thought I'd try T-mobile with its option of using Orange footprint as well.
Got a great phone that I'm sure I'll love once I've got used to it. And the people at T-mobile were pleasant and helpful until today - but they were the sales team. THE SUPPORT TEAM ARE A WHOLE DIFFERENT BREED!
As my Vodafone account ended yesterday, and I had given T-mobile my PAC code last week, so I could keep my number, I was surprised not to hear from them today. So I rang. BIG MISTAKE - after over 15 minutes trying to explain that I was simply following up my new account, etc. A rather stupid, badly trained and unhelpful woman finally explained that they had not bothered to note my pac code, and that they would not have contacted me. So its a good thing I rang and gave the code again. and maybe this will work - though I'll have no mobile for 2 days...
IF YOU'RE BRAVE ENOUGH TO TRY THESE FOLK, DO CHASE THEM UP - BECAUSE BASED ON MY FIRST EXPERIENCE YOU CANNOT COUNT ON THESE PEOPLE TO DO WHAT THEY PROMISE. AND THEY DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO TRAIN THEIR STAFF WHO ANSWER THE PHONES.
IF I COULD GIVE THEM MINUS STARS I WOULD.
