If you have a problem with your Orange mobile account and they say they will contact you back, guaranteed that they will not !!
It started back in November when I replaced my mobile phone (which was on a monthly contract). A few weeks after getting the new phone I tried to log onto my online orange account (where I also manage the pay as you go phones for my wife and kids) . Anyhow, i couldn't log on so contacted Orange about this. They told me it was a general problem with their website and would be fixed soon. One week later I tried again and still could not logon. I called orange again and worked through the problem with an Indian lad. He said he would look into the problem and call me back. He never did.
Two weeks later I called again and got a British lass. We worked through several solutions like clearing the web browser cache and this kind of thing. She couldn't resolve the problem and told me she would would look into the problem and call back. She never did.
Two weeks later I called again. I got an Indian guy (i think) this time and told him the problem had been going on for over a month. He got his supervisor on the line who said this was an ongoing problem affecting many accounts for the last 1.5months. She said she would raise the priority of my problem and personally call me back in 2 days time. She never did.
I was fed up now and didn't call back for another month. This time I got through to Melvin in the Philippines. A bit of crazy fella but likeable. He says he sees a problem with my account and he is unable to change my password for a reason he doesn't understand. He says he is going to sort the problem out and call me back within 48hrs. I believe him because we got on well. He never called back.
One week later I call back again and ask to get put through to Melvin again but apparently he is busy. I get put through to Laura instead. She is very nice and very sympathetic to my problem. She promises that she will try to resolve the problem and will contact me tomorrow, she even gives me her email address. She never called back.
I decide to email her, but get no reply.
Again, I'm fed up and I don't have time to keep calling them. Each phone call takes at least 30min and the time delay and language barriers can be very tiring to deal with.
3 Months later I decide to give it another go and call them. I explain the situation again and she says she will escalate it to her managers who will call me with 24-48hrs. Of course I'm very dubious about this. 60hours later, I still haven't received a call. I call them up again and ask to speak to manager, I don't want to discuss my problem again ! Just put me through to a manager. 20min later waiting, I get told the manager is not in but will be in within 30mins and will call me back, and while I am waiting for that call I am writing this ! Who wants to bet that they won't call me !!!!!!!!!
