I have an account that charges me 99 cents per month via my credit card. I now no longer need the service and I noticed the charge on my credit card. I logged into LocalPhone.com and notice that they don't offer ANY method to close an account. I searched google and found you have to email support to close an account.
So why are they unwilling to simply allow you to do this online with a button. They clearly think I'll want have the motivation to find the correct address and send them an email over 99 cents.
Shameful.

Davecardwell's Response to Guestwqwerqe's Review

Hi there. My name is Dave Cardwell and I work for Localphone. I wanted to address the concerns you highlight in your review.
You can cancel an Incoming Number at any time on the website, which would have ended the 99ยข fee. On the Incoming Number page there is a "Manage Number" link next to each, and at the bottom of the subsequent page there is a "Cancel Number" button.
We recognise that there are some aspects of our site that are hard to navigate so we are currently undergoing a review and redesign based on customer feedback. Hopefully this will make features like this easier to find.
It is true that you currently have to email our support team at http://www.localphone.com/contact - there is no malicious intent here, and we hope to offer this as a self-service feature soon.
I hope this lays your concerns to rest. You can contact us at http://www.localphone.com/contact if you have any other feedback or suggestions.

Are you still 'currently undergoing a review and redesign'? I would like to delete my account and there is absolutely no way i can see of doing this! (Other than the above mentioned, which i have googled to find.) I suggest rather than making comments claiming you hope this will change, actually changing it.

Yes, the planned redesign is still under way.
