I've been extremly happy with the service from Giff Gaff. I moved over from T-Mobile mainly to save a few pounds a month and get a few other benefits. The transfer went smoothly and there were good status updates as the transfer progressed.

The online admin panel is simple to use. It's quick to buy goody bags and credit. You can set up auto topup, but I'm actually really enjoying the fact that when my credit's gone, it's gone. It gives me peace of mind, for example on holiday I know I can't run up a huge bill from roaming charges. Besides, thanks to the goody bags my regular credit decreases so slowly I rarely have the hassle of topping up.

A few specifics worth mentioning - 0800 numbers are actually free with Giff Gaff, which was a welcome surprise as I'd previously been charged for these when calling from a mobile. Also, phoning voicemail doesn't decrease my credit - a pleasant surprise again, as voicemail used to be excluded from my allowance on my old plan. I also really like the fact that voicemails don't seem to get automatically updated - I've got about 9 on there, some from months ago. On my previous plan these would have just got automatically deleted after a week or so.

Only slight gripe is you can't set up auto topup of the goody bags - the best you can currently do it buy two at once. The first becomes active immediately, and the second one is queued ready for when the first expires. Personally I'd like to just set it up to automatically add a new £10 goody bag each month.

Overall though, I'm delighted!
