I have been with Fido for 7 years and was very happy with their service while I was in Alberta. I forgave the fact that I NEVER had service anywhere in Saskatchewan except Saskatoon. However, since moving to BC I cannot use my phone in my own home. Fido's solution....go door to door and knock asking my neighbours if they are will Rogers or Fido and find out if they have reception issues. When I told them that was ridiculous they told me to buy a signal booster for my home. Again ridiculous. When asking them to let me out of my contract as they are not providing the service I am paying them for they told me I could find someone to take over my contract and it would be no penalty to me. However, I am not allowed to keep my number even though it is associated with my business. I completely understand pockets of poorer reception but I have to sit on my street in the middle of the cul de sac and hope it's not cloudy while I book business.
Shame on you Fido. Never again!
