When we went on holiday in may this year we were advised by EE that we should buy an add on to use our phones abroad. when we rang to get a price for an add on we were told it was £3.50 for 1 gig what they did not say was if you did not use it in 24 hours you would loose it and have to buy it again. I got burned badly by EE when it comes to mobile phone pay as you go tariff. Firstly the app to check usage consistently failed to connect to their server so I could not tell my phone usage while in France and the bill originally of £10 came to £85! “Massive improvement ”

Having 3 business lines with EE just upgraded 2 of them purely because customer service has improved dramtically in last 6 months. Is this because we're business customers ? No matter, happy to be locked in for another 24 months now. Phone delivery, 4G signal and pricing if you want top data tariffs are all now very competitive having researched market again I do think EE gets a bad press but their act is really coming together now. The app that shows your bill has never worked properly (error messages, page not working and the like); sometimes I get billed well above my monthly charges and have no idea why (£100+) as I have no means to check. Bought an Iphone 5s on 24 month contract couple of days before I had to go away for couple of weeks and signal seemed ok. Upon return and using phone fully it turned out that the signal was rubbish generally in the Gu10 area. Asked to cancel and they refused as it was beyond 14 days in spite of the fact I had been away. “overcharging on data use”

I have been a loyal customer of Orange and now they overcharge me. A few months ago they maintained I exceeded my monthly data limit and charged penalty. I then got a data manager app and confirmed I only used half my data during last month and yet they bill me again for allegedly exceeding limit.
