Their Customer Service is completely terrible, when asked in 4 different EE stores if my monthly bill would go up or down, they said no yet, 5 months later into my 12 month contract and they have risen the price £2 I can't even give them a rating: False Promises Customer Service Terrible Waiting Times Higher than previous times. 4G Utterly Useless (I can't even get 3G yet) Very Few Staff at Busy Times Money and good reputation, not actual customer oppinions I can't recommend them simply... The list of problems I have experienced since transferring from Orange to EE are too long to list. Appalling signal, taking ages to connect to a network, dropped calls, double billing, Orange and EE not having a clue what the other is doing when transferring my contract, ages to get a sim card set up when I first joined, unhelpful call centres, days and days trying to get a proof of purchase letter for my insurance when my phone was stolen (STILL not resolved). Changed to ee after bad contract term with o2. I signed up by phone which took ages but does give you 21 days to cancel the contract. If only i had ! After watching the tv adverts i thought id get some 4g somewhere . Ee told me id get more signal at home than i do. Normal phone signal/service is awful . I was 'given' a signal booster box to use at home. It actually blocks more calls than it puts through and ee have now charged me a £500 equipement charge for it! They said they would refund... Switched to T-mobile in January 2013. In April, got a call from EE saying I'm migrated to their EE account with all the contract details remaining the same. WRONG - subsequently found that the unlimited data on their "full monty" contract was limited to 500MB per month. Is this mis-sold? WRONG - found that they started a new 24 month contract from April when the original contract with T- Mobile was started in January. Does this count as fraud? INCOMPETENT - They sent me a new sim card with... (read more)

I was with orange for years without issue. I upgraded and then was with EE. So far they have been unable to get my bill right when I have queried them I have had so many different people tell me so many different things. They have now removed my last 2 bills from the system so I am unable to view them for accuracy. When Orange and T-mobile joined up I was so pleased I'd stayed with them because the service really improved, prior to that I was going to change my provider. As I've been with T-mobile for 8 years I was reluctant to leave them but the two networks together was a real improvement. However, not happy with an excellent network it seems that the brains at EE have taken the extra capacity and used it to corner the market on 4G before the other networks can buy any frequencies and catch up. My wife appears to have been conned into transferring onto EE from T mobile. After a month the least of her worries is the speed of the internet as the phone service often rejects calls and gives the message it is busy when it is not. The text service is equally unreliable.
