Rubbish customer service! I have called EE asking to cancel my contract as it is coming to an end. It took half an hour as I have been transferred to different departments. Finally, the adviser said it will be cancelled after 30 days free of charge. After two weeks I checked my bill and noticed I was charged £2.11 Contract cancellation fee. I called EE straight away. “weymouth EE shop worst customer service ever”

worst customer service of my life in the Weymouth branch, bored disinterested staff who laugh at you if you question their tariffs and ignore you for ages even though the shop is empty. Carphone warehouse next door was such a different experience with helpful staff selling same EE product on a £7 cheaper tariff for same thing on EE. Hundreds of calls and emails-and broken promises--no service on changeover day--lies almost every time I contacted them--worthless service and they expect you to do all the checking and reporting. They do not even read their own e-mails, never mind yours. One complaint alone involved 3 stage escalation--then 13 email reminders. Samsung phone is terrible always sticking can't get to answer phone calls takes ages to get anything up mainly because of sticking. but apparently that is not an option. I am actually getting bored with having to deal with the awful customer service from EE. It all started with my 4 attempts to set up a direct debit with them over the phone.... and for some reason each time the person on the other end of the phone failed to do this successfully. If you've only ever had 1 bad experience (hence your first negative review) you're doing amazingly well. It's critical companies are held accountable and named and shamed in public for providing poor service. All the best with your issue.

Hi Sorry to read about your bad experience with EE. I am glad I read this because I am with SKY and so far their service has been okay but not good. I had to call them early on this year because they were taking too much out of my account and I told them that I would leave if they did not offer me some incentive to stay.
They not only knocked down the price but re-imbursed me for the money that they had taken out of my account. Some of these companies need a jolt or two to remind them that they need to work to retain their customers.

Just cancelled my contract with EE for Broadband and phone. Moved house end of February, arranged with EE and got date for set up. This was not confirmed by Open Reach but I was not told and waited home all day, Phoned EE and another date set, same problem - rejected by Open Reach. I have just come out of my contract (thank God). Have finally escaped from this poor excuse for a mobile phone company. Was originally an Orange customer which I found to be pretty good.
