My family and I are EE customers, having been Orange customers before. We stick with them because we're all on the same network. Their phones and basic charges are competitive. But we all find their phone customer helpline and their website are terrible: unless you're buying something you can't get through; they send you round in circles; if you can't remember a password, they make it really difficult to get back in; if you go to their shops, you wait 30 or more minutes to be served; their website is always down, difficult to get into and totally unintuitive. You have to conclude that they like to make it difficult for you to manage your account. On the whole, I can't recommend them but have also found BT and Virgin act the same way - once you're on the hook, they don't give a toss either.
