When I brought my new phone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, I opted to go onto the insurance policy the shop offered. I was paying £13 a month, and for what more? With this, I pay £9, including loss protection, and get a sturdy insurer. No text messages every day saying i've got '10 free games to claim' or 50MB of online storage.

The price is still high, I don't pay that on life insurance; I think people are trying to tell us our mobile phones are worth more than our lives? Oh well, it has to be paid, and i'm currently loving this big protective bubble that I'm In.
