I got insurance for my iphone because it was cheap. I had no problem paying £4/month.

The screen cracked and needed fixed so I sent it away to get fixed.

So much hassle with all these different documents and confirmation was needed from me before I could proceed with the repair, this too about two weeks back and forth til they finally accepted my claim for repair.

It took over a week to send it away and receive it back and I notice the screen seemed bouncy at the top left corner but I didn't think it could be anything to do with an insurance company.

It has been a few months and the phone dropped and the full screen popped off, however the backlight was still connected to the phone. The screen clicked back in and is still working however it's loose at the top of the phone.

A friend of mine who owns a smartphone repair shop locally had a look at this and said this never happens to iPhones unless it's a repair fault. I also wondered why I've never heard of this?

I contacted insurance2go and they have told me there's a three month repair warranty? I was never told this in any of the terms and conditions. The ownership of the company was changed only a few months ago but there was no sign of this 'three month repair warranty'

They said I have to pay the full excess again even though it was there fault my phone was not repaired properly. They were very condescending in their email and I recommend to go with an insurance provider that repairs your phone correctly.
