I got a Hipposkip as a stop gap whilst waiting for a proper skip. Discovered when I got it home that it can only be a quarter full of rubble - the promotional material in store and online does not make this clear. I essentially got a capacity of a 1 yard skip for a total cost of a 4 yard builders skip. Frankly a waste of money. I would not recommend this option if you are doing any kind of building work

This company is in dire financial difficulties at present!! I have experienced there terrible customer service and collection drivers one namely from Portsmouth, mr I know it all but didn't have a clue right numpety I train new drivers I am number one in the company yeh whatever!!

Can't beat a proper skip and who wants to pay hippo waste prices £190 for a tiny bag that only handles 1 ton what is the point total rip off never again!!

Avoid at your peril awful customer service I go to wickes now and get 1 ton bags for a fiver miles cheaper and take down the dump myself!
